Sometimes we take the simplest things for granted. Like clean water. Today, the water was shut off in my apartment due to maintenance. Though that didn't inconvenience me in any particular way, it did make me think about how much we rely on water in modern society. And it's a damn shame that not everyone has access to clean water. So today I'm giving $20 to charity: water, a non-profit that funds projects around the world that allow people access to clean water. In a giving mood, as well? There are worse things that you can do with your money than giving people access to the basic necessities that everyone deserves. Go here to give.
